DIRECTIONS

 Washington and Lee University is located in Lexington, Virginia and is easily accessible from Interstates 81 and 64. Click on the map to the right to see interstates leading to the Lexington area. 

 From I-81 South, I-64 West
- Follow Interstate 81/64 to Exit 195. Follow the exit ramp and then turn right onto U.S. Route 11 South. Follow for six miles into Lexington.

 - Route 11 will fork, take 11 Business to the right and follow through the VMI campus. Turn right at the second traffic light (Nelson Street) and follow until you see the parking deck on your right.

 From I-64 East
- Follow Interstate 64 to Exit 55. Follow the exit ramp, turn right onto U.S. Route 11 South. Follow the above directions.

 From I-81 North
- Follow Interstate 81 to Exit 188B. Take a right onto U.S. Route 60 West and follow into Lexington.

 - Stay on Route 60 (also Nelson Street) through downtown Lexington. Shortly after driving through the downtown area you will see the parking deck on your right.

ACCESS

The commencement ceremony will be held in the center of campus in front of the Lee Chapel, a short walk from the parking garage. Convenient access to the law and undergraduate commencement exercises and the undergraduate baccalaureate service is available for all those who are able to walk only short distances, have difficulty climbing steps, use a wheelchair, or need other special assistance. The University reserves parking spaces on Washington and Jefferson Streets immediately adjacent to the site of the ceremonies and arranges for special seating at the ceremony, when requested.
